The French company Société des Trois Vallées (S3V) intends to build the largest ski cluster in Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan. This was announced by the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Japarov after his meeting in Bishkek with the CEO of S3V Pascal de Tirsant.

The director general of the French company S3V Pascal de Tiersan said that the cluster "Three Peaks" may become the largest ski resort in Central Asia”, the press service of the head of Kyrgyzstan announced.

According to de Tiersan, the project covers three mountain peaks in the Isik-Kul region: Yurgalan, Ak-Bulak and Boz-Uchuk. “According to the plan, ski slopes with a total length of about 200 km will be built in these places. It is expected that 4,800 jobs will be created after the implementation of the project. The volume of tax reliefs will be 146 million euros”, the press service notes.

As planned, these ski resorts will operate 10 months a year, and their capacity will be “up to 850,000 tourists”. “As part of the first stage of the construction of the cluster, 60 km of ski slopes and six cable cars will be built. The planned work will be completed by the end of 2026 and will require investments in the amount of "165 million", the press service assured. Hotels, restaurants, ethnic towns, conference halls and other places of recreation will also be built for tourists. The President of Kyrgyzstan, in turn, emphasized that the republic has great tourist potential and unique nature, which should become “key areas of economic development”. countries.
